Here’s a little about myself…I’m an Orange County Newborn Photographer located in Laguna Niguel, Ca. I love to capture the fleeting moments of newborns and babies for Orange County families. When I say this moment is fleeting it really is as an Orange County newborn photographer specialist a baby is only considered a newborn for the first two weeks. Gasp! I know, right? How can that be you say? Let me explain. The first two weeks are typically when a baby is at their most sleepiest state. After this time period babies do not sleep as soundly and can get easily disturbed while posing for newborn pictures. I have found that the optimal time to photograph a newborn baby is at 5-8 days old but definitely before they are out of their 2 week old stage. If babies are born premature there is some flexibility with this time frame.
