I’ll often be asked what should I wear for my maternity session? Since, a maternity session is to show off your bump I always suggest to wear clothing that shows your bump off. I like my clients to coordinate but not be all matchy matchy. There is no white shirts and khakis going on in my sessions. I really like to stay clear of that look. I love seeing my expectant families coordinating with eachother. I suggest mom select her outfit first then coordinate children and significant other. This seems to work the best.
I’ll be featuring ideas that I feel would look awesome in a maternity photo session. Here I took some outfits from the Gap, Old Navy and Norstroms. See, how I coordinated the blue’s and the peach with the rest of the family. I think it looks beautiful and would photograph so well for a maternity session.
