Newborn Photography Orange County Baby Caspar | Baby Caspar is going to be T A L L ! He measured 22 inches long! The longest baby I have shot to date. Isn’t he sweet? He came to his newborn photography session with his daddy, big sis and his nanny who stayed with me during the session. She was really good with him. In Chinese culture the moms rest for a full month after birth only getting up from their bed to eat and to relief themselves. Nanny “S”‘s job is to take care of Baby Caspar and his mommy during this time. It is so interesting to hear about different cultures! More to come later.

Although, I do take last minute newborn session if time allows, it is best to pre-book your newborn photography session and it is never too early to do that. Appointments are tentatively scheduled 2 weeks after your estimated due date (EDD) and will be moved if you deliver early or are late. This will ensure a newborn photography session is secured for your new arrival’s newborn photo shoot.
If you are considering just shooting your own newborn photos please read this blog post that may change your mind. I really consider the arrival of a newborn baby as a life altering event such as a wedding. Weddings are celebrated in such a big way but newborns for some reason aren’t looked at in the same degree.
