Beach Maternity Photography Orange County

So those of you that frequent my blog or know me in some way know that I have a LOVE for the beach. It must come from the love I have for Kauai. Anyways, when I found this beautiful beach in Laguna I knew that someday I would be doing a session here. So, I dreamed of a beautiful blonde expectant mom wearing a white bikini. Sometimes images pop into my mind that I really want to make come alive. So what I did next was I did a casting call and this beautiful mama “A” was the first to respond to my facebook post. Within an hour I had many beautiful blonde expectant moms inquiring about my casting call but this mama was more than I had dreamed of! I hadn’t even thought of tattoos until I saw that she had them. OMG! I thought I had struck gold and she was beautiful on top of that!

It was the end of summer so white bikini’s in a size small were hard to find. Mama “A” went shopping to find one and so did I. She was able to find the top and I was able to find the bottoms. lol. I found this gorgeous white floppy hat for her to wear and this gorgeous pale pastel colored scarf for her hair. Things just happened to fall into place.

So we met at this beautiful serene beach soon after finding the bikini and this is what came of it….

From this session I also place 1st and 2nd in the NAPCP June 2013 Image Competition in the Maternity Division!

What a HUGE honor to have been selected amongst such a talented group of photographers! These are the two images that placed!
