Newborn Photographer Laguna Niguel | Welcome Baby Luke! Mom and dad look so lovely with their new baby Luke. Baby Luke smiled for a quick second and I wasn’t sure at the time if I had gotten this shot for his mom who asked if I had captured him smiling. So, glad I did. They all look so happy and such a perfect new OC family. Baby Luke was really quite a perfect model for me during his newborn photography session. I have been on a lucky streak with sleepy babies. Crossing fingers it continues! Luke was about 10 days old here and had the most gorgeous skin that it made editing really easy for me. Most people think newborns typically have beautiful skin, but the truth is there is a lot of editing going on behind the scenes of most newborn photographers.
Baby Luke’s mom is an engineer by day and a wedding videographer on the weekends. Check out her business it’s called Lisa Hadley Studios. Lisa booked her newborn session with me months ago so all we were doing is waiting on Luke to arrive. The funny thing is her brother had a baby almost 2 months before and had come in for a last minute mini session for his Baby Oliver’s photo session at 7 weeks old. I’ll be posting some portraits I captured from his session soon. Anyways, I had no idea they were related until Oliver’s dad told me they saw Lisa the other day and found out that they both had booked me for a session without even knowing. They must have very similar taste in photography style and I’m happy they did. It was a pleasure working with both of these families.
It’s best to pre-book your newborn photography session while you are still pregnant. This will guarantee you have a portrait session booked and confirmed with me. Newborn photography sessions are done while your baby is two weeks old, optimally 5-8 days old. If you like what you see please contact me via my contact page to book your session.
